To work as part of the engineering team to provide effective and efficient mechanical and electrical support throughout the factory. Tasks will involve reactive support in the factory; continuous improvement projects planned through the maintenance system and planned maintenance tasks. The role will be working with a wide range of complex automated cooking processes and packaging equipment.
- Provide a proactive response to maintenance, continuous improvement tasks and reactive breakdowns on site;
- Accurate recording of all work activities;
- Completion of RCAs as required;
- Escalation of any further works required;
- Identification of CI projects for repetitive problems.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Relevant engineering qualification
- Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entry
- Experience of FMCG operations
- PC Literate (thereby able to use computer-based maintenance systems)
- Flexibility
- Health and Safety driven
- Able to strip machines in full and reassemble them, as well as completing machine size change procedures and their adjustments
