Job Description

This is a homebased role, with regular travel to customer sites, meetings and occasional internal collaboration. Being out with customers and seeing the market first-hand is a key part of the role. This is a 14 month Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a great opportunity to take real ownership of a diverse and fast-moving customer base, driving sustainable growth while shaping how we show up across these channels.

This role is all about building strong, commercially effective relationships & working closely with customers to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and deliver solutions that work for both sides.

You’ll be:

  • Managing and developing key accounts across grocery channels
  • Leading on commercial negotiations, pricing and joint business planning
  • Driving both branded and customer-specific growth opportunities
  • Working cross-functionally with teams across marketing, category, supply chain and NPD to bring new ideas to market
  • Keeping a close eye on trends within foodservice and out-of-home channels to spot opportunities

It’s a varied role where you’ll balance strategic planning with day-to-day account management, with plenty of scope to influence outcomes.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset and the confidence to build credible relationships across a broad customer base. You’ll likely have:

  • Experience in FMCG or Food manufacturing industry
  • Grocery channel account management, across retailers
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • The ability to manage multiple customers and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
