We're seeking a Hygiene Operative to join our Gateshead site, part of the esteemed Valeo Foods UK Group. If you're passionate about hygiene, safety, and making a difference in the food industry, this role is for you!
We are committed to crafting delicious snacks while upholding rigorous hygiene and safety standards. As part of the Valeo Foods UK Group, we prioritise quality and excellence in everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:- Adhere to Health and Safety Policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Safely store and use chemicals in accordance with COSHH and HAZOP regulations.
- Maintain adherence to cleaning procedures and hygiene systems to meet internal and customer expectations.
- Deliver service outcomes to production within the area of responsibility, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery of clean equipment for production.
- Highlight any gaps in skills and actively seek opportunities for training and development.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and has a keen attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Basic qualifications in Food Hygiene, Working at Height, and COSHH.
- A basic understanding of HACCP principles is also beneficial.
