As a Night Hygiene Operative, you’ll help ensure our factory is always clean, safe and ready for production. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning production lines in line with CIC cleaning cards and site standards.
  • Completing and signing off daily cleaning schedules accurately and on time.
  • Following all hygiene procedures and work instructions, including:
    • correct machine settings
    • process documentation
    • allergen and cross‑contamination controls
    • HACCP requirements
  • Carrying out ad‑hoc cleaning tasks within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensuring all key areas of the factory remain clean, tidy and hazard‑free at all times.

Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • Food Safety Level 2 (essential).
  • Chemical handling training.
  • COSHH training – desirable but not essential.

Qualities & Experience:

  • Self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • A logical, methodical approach to tasks and problem‑solving.
  • A positive, can‑do attitude — someone who leads by example and focuses on solutions rather than problems.
