Job Description
- Leadership, management, and development of the Engineering supervisors
- Ownership of the Engineering KPIs and Stats pack, downtime, ppm, corrective and improvement records, revenue cost at asset level
- Working with the Reliability Engineer & Maintenance planner to manage the PPM schedules to improve reliability
- Analysis of downtime time reports, carry out TOP 3 reviews daily, weekly monthly, annual by area and action corrective, remedial and improvement through the maintenance teams
- Maintaining liaison with outside contractors, suppliers, and representatives of other companies on matters as general maintenance as well as compliance with standards, specifications, and regulations
- Participating in cross-functional teams to optimise plant design, improvements, cost effectiveness, reliability, operability, and maintainability
- Co-coordinating with Technical and Health and Safety Departments throughout project duration
- Establishing and Maintaining planned and predictive maintenance programmes for manufacturing equipment.
- Delivering Maintenance assessments, FMEA, RCM etc.
- Coordinating condition based monitoring ensuring closure of all identified works.
- Conducting and ensuring Root cause analysis of breakdowns and equipment failures, implementing initiatives to remove reoccurrence.
- Identification and management of spare parts to ensure zero downtime of production equipment due spare part availability.
Managing and highlighting Critical spare part management.
- Maintain relationship with OEM’s and contractors to ensure ongoing support and compliance with equipment.
- Lead Reliability and CI projects.
- Work in a cross functional teams to drive reliability, CI, maintainability and operability of equipment.
Qualifications
- Full time served apprenticeship minimum NVQ level 3.
- Working knowledge of CMMS
- Demonstrated knowledge of understanding areas of quality control, health, safety, environment, and effective cost management
- Strong IT skills (MS Office)
- Ability to engage front line Engineers and mobilize teams in pursuit of common goals.
- Ability to influence cross functional working across teams/sites
- Excellent organisational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
