We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and reliable team players to join our Honey Process Team — the vital first step in ensuring every drop of Rowse Honey meets our high standards.
Location: Wallingford
Shift Times: Rotating 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ensure Health & safety is always maintained.
- Keep a high standard of GMP in all areas.
- Pick batches of honey from recipes issued and load them into the cabinets.
- Ensure that all the honey is loaded into the cabinets and pumped as per the pump plan.
- Follow the standard operating procedures, work instructions and escalation processes for raw materials and component parts with regards to quality defects.
- Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards maximising GMP standards within all areas.
- Always wear correct protective clothing and equipment.
- Own and make recommendations for continuous improvement within the department.
- To carry out any other reasonable supervisory or managerial request.
Qualifications:
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance, grabs trained)
- Numeracy/data accuracy
- Good awareness of allergens in line with HACCP risk assessments.
- Inter-personnel skills, liaising with internal and external teams.
- Detail oriented.
- Prioritising Communication Skills – written and verbal.
- Decision making Ability to react effectively to short notice change, integrating the needs of all departments.
