Hybrid role based in Wallingford – 3 days on site, 2 days working from home. Here at Valeo Foods, we’re looking for a detail-driven finance professional to ensure the consistent delivery of accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and support the overall financial management of the Valeo Foods UK business (VFUK). The role will focus on delivery of financial governance, control, planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate month-end close and group reporting (OneStream)
  • Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support VAT and tax compliance, including submissions and HMRC liaison
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, including capex and depreciation
  • Provide financial insight and support to stakeholders across the business
  • Assist with reporting, analysis, and process improvements

Key Experience & Skills

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong accounting experience (essential)
  • Proven month-end and balance sheet reconciliation experience
  • Financial reporting and analysis experience
  • Strong Excel and ERP systems knowledge
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
