Hey there, food safety and quality champions! Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with us? Valeo Foods UK, is on the lookout for a dynamic Quality Assurance Technician to join our passionate team in Wallingford, the home of Rowse Honey!

As Quality Assurance Technician you\’ll play a vital role in championing a collaborative food safety and quality culture within our QA and operations team.
Your Quest: You will be the point of contact during shift for all Quality issues
Key Responsibilities
- Working as part of the QA team to ensure effective management of food safety and quality.
- Ensure factory compliance to customer policies, external certification, and GMP standards.
- Incident management and drive continuous improvement through data-driven investigations.
- Handle customer interactions, audits, and complaints effectively and with professionalism.
- Drive right-first-time approaches to production and ensure effective performance against KPIs.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
- Food Safety Level 3
- Experience in FMCG or similar environment
- HACCP Level 2 qualification and experience in retailer quality systems.
Qualities We\’re Seeking
- 2 years experience within a QA/production environment.
- Continuous improvement and problem solving.
- Experience in equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Organisational skills.
- Numeracy / data accuracy.
- Prioritising and decision making.
