Job Description
Are you ready to take the lead in a role that blends payroll expertise with HR support? We’re looking for a confident and capable Payroll and HR Lead to join our Norwich team, helping us deliver smooth, accurate, and compliant payroll services while also supporting our wider HR function.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys detail and structure but also thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll lead our payroll team, overseeing the full end-to-end process, from data entry and reporting to pensions, benefits, and statutory payments. You’ll also play a key part in supporting HR tasks like onboarding, contract changes, and employee life cycle management.
In this role, you’ll be the bridge between HR, finance, and other departments, handling audits, resolving queries, and continuously looking for ways to improve how we work. If you enjoy spotting opportunities to streamline processes and enhance accuracy, this role will suit you perfectly.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with proven experience in payroll (ideally with team leadership exposure), a strong grasp of UK payroll legislation, and a keen eye for detail. Solid systems experience is essential, as is the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
