Job Description

We’re looking for a Paralegal to join our friendly and supportive legal team on a six-month FTC. Right now, there are three of us in the team, and with this role we’ll become four – so you’ll be stepping into a small, close-knit group where collaboration and a sense of fun are just as important as getting the work done.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck in the background. You’ll be hands-on with contract reviews, preparing summaries and mark-ups, and supporting on product artwork and packaging compliance (don’t worry, we’ll train you up on this part). You’ll also be involved in keeping our legal documents up to date, carrying out research, and helping with the day-to-day running of the function – from getting signatures and managing registers to checking invoices and keeping our systems on track.

Qualifications

We think it’s a fantastic opportunity for either a career paralegal or a law graduate (GDL/LPC included) who’s gained some experience in a commercial law firm or in-house and is now looking for real exposure to the fast-paced FMCG world. You’ll need to bring sharp analytical thinking, a great eye for detail, and the confidence to work with people at all levels. Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone adaptable, collaborative, and curious, someone who wants to do their personal best and learn along the way.

The role is hybrid, ideally based in the North West, with plenty of flexibility to work from home. What you will get is the chance to shape your experience in a dynamic business, surrounded by brands you’ll know and love, and supported by a team that’s open, approachable and ready to welcome you in.

Additional Information

Join Our Team: If you\’re ready to challenge the norm, inspire others, and make a real impact, we want to hear from you! Apply now to become part of the Valeo Foods UK family and take your career to the next level.
