Food Production Operatives Day Shift
Salary: £25,862.20
Shifts: Monday–Friday, rotating early (6:00–14:00) and late (14:00–22:00)
Join us as a Food Production Operative at our Valeo Foods York site – home of Poppets and XXX Mints – where we produce some of the UK’s most loved confectionery. Every role here plays a vital part in keeping our products moving from factory to fans.
About The Role
As a Food Production Operative, you’ll work hands‑on with our machinery and production lines. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
- Setting up and operating equipment
- Monitoring performance and quality
- Completing routine checks
- Troubleshooting and adjusting machinery to keep production running smoothly
It’s a fast‑paced environment where teamwork is essential, and your contribution will directly help deliver treats enjoyed across the country.
Qualifications
You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
