We are looking for a dedicated Training Specialist to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract at the Norwich Kettle Chips factory. You will play a key role in maintaining and developing our brand integrity by designing, delivering, and managing training programs that enhance employee skills and performance, ensuring alignment with our company values, KPIs, and compliance standards. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with managers and team leaders to identify training needs, create engaging learning materials, and mentor employees to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with managers to assess training needs and schedule sessions
- Design and deliver effective training programs, workshops, and individual sessions
- Prepare educational materials, including work instructions, CILs, and videos
- Conduct inductions and orientation programs to onboard new employees
- Mentor and support employees to improve workplace performance
- Evaluate training effectiveness and monitor employee progress
- Continuously review and update training content to ensure relevance
- Develop and refresh team manual handling and practical skill activities
- Maintain accurate training records and manage learning & development systems
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a workplace trainer is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of training methodologies and tools
- Eagerness to stay current with new learning techniques
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making abilities
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to assess training effectiveness
- Ideally someone with food production knowledge
- ‘Train the Trainer’ qualification

- Shifts: 3 on 3 off, 7 till 7 (PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 12 MONTH FTC)
