Job Description

Buzz into a Sweet Career at Rowse Honey: Nights Multi Skilled Engineer Wanted!

Position: Multi Skilled Engineer (Suitable for both mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, maintenance engineer)

Type: Full-time, Days

Shifts: 10pm – 6am

The Role:

We’re on the hunt for a Multi Skilled Engineer who’s as versatile as a Swiss Army knife and as reliable as a honeybee. You’ll be our go-to person for both electrical engineer and mechanical engineer wizardry, ensuring our machinery hums along smoothly. If you’re a pro at fixing things and love the sweet smell of success, this job is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bee the Fixer: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on our buzzing machinery, keeping everything in tip-top shape.
  • Bee the Troubleshooter: Diagnose and squash mechanical and electrical issues faster than a bee can flap its wings.
  • Bee the Innovator: Assist in the installation of new machines and upgrades, bringing fresh ideas to our hive.
  • Bee Safe: Adhere to all health and safety regulations because happy bees are safe bees.
  • Bee a Team Player: Work collaboratively to find ways to make our production process as smooth as honey.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide a proactive response to maintenance, continuous improvement tasks and reactive breakdowns on site;
  • Accurate recording of all work activities;
  • Completion of RCAs as required;
  • Escalation of any further works required;
  • Identification of CI projects for repetitive problems.

Qualifications

  • Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entry.
  • Experience of FMCG operations.
  • PC Literate (thereby able to use computer-based maintenance systems).
  • Flexibility.
  • Health and Safety driven.
  • Able to strip machines in full and reassemble them, as well as completing machine size change procedures and their adjustments.
