Shifts: Monday to Friday (7.30am-15.30pm / 09.00am-17.00pm / 10.00am-18.00pm)

Salary: £26,163.76 per annum.

We are looking for a diligent and enthusiastic Steam Food Operative to join our dedicated team in Heanor and help us maintain the high standards our customers adore.

The Role: As a Steam Food Operative, you will be at the heart of our pudding production process, ensuring our products are cooked to perfection. Your role will involve operating steam cooking equipment, monitoring cooking processes, and ensuring that each pudding meets our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace, ensuring all equipment is in good working order and hygiene standards are met.
  • Manual Handling: Pushing and pulling empty and filled bogies, moving product into storage using pallet truck, palletising products by manually lifting.
  • Efficiency: Checking battery levels on the pedops.
