Job Description

Are you naturally curious, analytical and eager to build a career in finance?

We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team and play a key role in helping us understand performance, identify opportunities, and support better business decisions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across manufacturing, product costing, logistics, forecasting and commercial finance within a fast-paced food manufacturing business.

You'll work closely with teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Commercial, giving you a broad understanding of how finance supports every part of the business.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Producing financial reports, KPIs and performance insights that help drive decision-making.
  • Supporting monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Analysing costs, investigating variances and identifying trends.
  • Partnering with operational teams to understand manufacturing and logistics performance.
  • Supporting product costing and new product development initiatives.
  • Helping improve reporting processes, systems and financial controls.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and providing meaningful financial support and challenge.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data, asks great questions and is keen to make an impact.

You'll ideally have

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
  • Studying or aspiring to study ACCA, CIMA, ACA or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • The confidence to work with colleagues across different functions.
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
