Valenti Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join a busy, multi-franchise automotive service department in Kidlington. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional aftersales team, playing a key role in delivering excellent service to customers from drop-off to collection. The position is offered on a 3-month contract, with the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and handle vehicle service enquiries in a professional, friendly manner
  • Book vehicles for service, repair, and MOTs, coordinating with workshop teams to ensure efficient scheduling
  • Provide regular progress updates to customers and explain work required or undertaken
  • Authorise additional work and clearly communicate costs and timelines
  • Manage service records, job cards, and documentation accurately
  • Liaise with the workshop, parts, and sales teams to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
  • Support the parts team with stock control and ordering when needed
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and hit performance targets

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Service Advisor or similar role within the motor trade is desirable
  • Strong customer service background (automotive preferred but not essential)
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Professional, confident, and well-organised with a proactive mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Basic IT knowledge; experience with dealer management systems (DMS) is a plus
