Our multidisciplinary team includes Doctors with a special interest in men’s health, endocrinology-focused clinicians, pharmacists, and allied health specialists. We’re now expanding our clinical team with Doctors (any specialty) who have a strong interest in men’s health and preventative medicine.

Role Overview

You’ll sit at the heart of Valens Health’s clinical operations—providing safe, effective, compassionate care to men across the UK. You will conduct remote consultations, interpret diagnostics, oversee treatment plans, and help us continuously improve our service.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical duties

  • Conduct asynchronous and video consultations for new and returning patients.
  • Diagnose and manage low testosterone, metabolic syndrome/obesity, erectile dysfunction, and related concerns.
  • Interpret pathology results and create individualised treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and monitor TRT, GLP-1 receptor agonists, PDE5 inhibitors, and hair-loss treatments within governance/PGDs.
  • Liaise with our partner pharmacy for safe, timely dispensing.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation.

Governance & compliance

  • Uphold CQC standards for remote care, documentation, and patient safety.
  • Participate in clinical governance meetings and peer reviews.
  • Contribute to Valens Health SOPs and prescribing protocols.
  • Escalate red flags to the Medical Director or specialist network as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with product/operations to enhance the digital patient journey.
  • Provide clinical input for patient education (FAQs, guides, webinars).
  • Support internal training and quality improvement.
  • (Optional) Act as a clinical contributor in media, podcasts, or professional forums.

Who We’re Looking For

  • GMC-registered Doctor with a current licence to practise in the UK (any relevant specialty or portfolio career).
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in men’s health, endocrinology, metabolic health, sexual medicine, or lifestyle/longevity medicine.
  • Confident with remote consulting and digital health platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centred, evidence-based approach.
  • Experience with TRT, GLP-1 therapies, metabolic optimisation, or sexual medicine.
  • Background in functional/integrative/performance medicine (used appropriately within evidence-based frameworks).
  • Experience within a CQC-regulated remote or private setting.
  • Comfortable participating in education/outreach content.
