We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Plant Manager to oversee the management and operation of a nationwide fleet comprising over 70 Heavy Plant and Construction equipment units. This role will involve leading on fleet strategy, renewal, maintenance, and disposal planning, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and reliability across all depots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic planning for the fleet across multiple sites.
  • Lead on fleet renewal and disposal programs, ensuring cost efficiency and reliability.
  • Manage servicing, maintenance schedules, and compliance for all plant machinery.
  • Work closely with site teams to ensure plant availability and performance aligns with operational demands.
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet usage, condition, and service history.
  • Plan and implement asset improvements or replacements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar heavy plant or construction equipment role.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy plant machinery essential.
  • Proven experience in fleet management, asset planning, and maintenance coordination.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Flexible for travel between depots as required.
