Key Responsibilities

  • You will provide day-to-day administration support for all HR related matters across all HR functions, ensuring queries are dealt with promptly and effectively.
  • You will coordinate the recruitment process from advertising through to appointment ensuring all pre-employment checks and onboarding processes meet safer recruitment requirements.
  • You will also be responsible for coordinating the staff probation and promotion processes and assist with absence monitoring and HR reporting, supporting the HR Manager with employee relations.
  • You will maintain accurate HR records in line with data protection requirements.

About You

  • We are looking for an HR professional who holds a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) and has experience of working in a busy and varied HR department.
  • You will have a good knowledge of HR employment legislation and can handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Additionally, you will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities while also working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail, strong administration skills and confidence with MS Office and HR information systems are essential, along with a professional, positive, can-do attitude.
  • Experience within education is advantageous but not essential.
