We are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a busy Residential Conveyancing team based in Broxburn. You’ll support Solicitors with a high volume of property transactions including purchases, sales, remortgages and transfers of title.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Solicitors with day-to-day conveyancing transactions
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Preparing and submitting LBTT returns
- Handling registrations and post-completion tasks
- Liaising with clients, lenders and third parties
- Managing case files and ensuring accuracy throughout
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in Residential Conveyancing (essential)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
