Valeco Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a respected training organisation as they continue to grow their work in developing future talent within the Plumbing & Heating industry across Scotland. We’re looking for an organised, people-focused Regional & Administrative Support Officer — someone who enjoys variety, supporting apprentices, building relationships, and bringing structure and positivity to a busy training environment. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a friendly, purpose-led team and play a key role in supporting apprentices across Scotland.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating activity across regional training and admin teams
- Supporting apprentices with progress, attendance, employer changes and completions
- Leading apprentice recruitment and matching candidates to employers
- Building relationships with schools, employers and partners
- Supporting the organisation’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Contributing to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
- Assisting with events and engagement activities
- Creating engaging content for campaigns and digital platforms
- Checking management accounts, processing payments and liaising with auditors
- Providing high-quality customer service to all stakeholders
About you:
- Proactive, organised and flexible
- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
- Previous experience in administration or office support
- Confident working independently and managing a busy workload
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Collaborative, supportive team player
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable: experience in apprenticeships, education, training, or trades/construction.
