Financial Assistant – Newbridge, Midlothian Are you a highly-skilled and experienced Financial Assistant looking to join a growing family business? We are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented individual to join our client\’s team in Newbridge, Midlothian. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the continued success of a well-established company. About the Role: As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial duties, including: Payroll Processing: Manage the entire payroll function for approximately 20 employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, deductions, and statutory submissions. Management Accounting: Prepare and analyze comprehensive management accounts to provide valuable insights into the business\’s financial performance, identifying key trends and areas for improvement. VAT Returns & Compliance: Handle all VAT-related activities, including returns, reconciliations, and ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations. Bank Reconciliations: Conduct accurate and timely bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. Credit Control: Monitor and manage outstanding debts, proactively pursuing overdue payments and minimizing bad debt risk.
