Vale Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Trainee Manager looking for a promotion or an Assistant Manager looking for a career change, to join a large house building client - well known within the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Site Manager with the management of the site on a day to day basis.
  • Assist with ensuring the development is completed on time and is up to code with all specifications and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records for the site including staff inductions, HSE, timesheets, incident reports, quality control checklists.
  • Ensure materials are called off in a timely manner and checked.
  • Supervise the workers on site - this is inclusive of all subcontractors - to ensure works are completed on time.

Requirements:

  • Experience with a large house building company as an Assistant or Trainee.
  • Knowledge of the NHBC standards of practice.
  • Understanding of HSE legislation.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • SMSTS.
  • 3 day First Aid (preferred due to site requirements).
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £45 to 55k plus car/car allowance - experience dependant.
  • Pension.
  • Holiday - 26 days.
