We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised permanent Senior Cover Supervisor for 37 hours per week, on a term time only basis, to play a key role in ensuring learning continues smoothly when staff are absent at the Vale of York Academy.
You’ll be at the heart of the school day — coordinating daily cover, supporting alongside our team of Cover Supervisors, liaising with agency staff where required, and stepping into classrooms to supervise students and pre‑prepared learning. You’ll need to be confident managing behaviour, building positive relationships with young people and keeping calm when plans change.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy secondary school environment, has experience of working with young people and enjoys making a real difference to the smooth running of the school.
