About the role

Pay Details: JNC Youth and Community Professional Range Point 14

Hours of Work: Various part-time sessions as required. Sessions are typically of 2-3 hours duration and take place mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Course duration is Adult Term Time only and will vary from 5 to 30 weeks and may include one-day workshops and taster courses.

Main Place of Work: Various Adult Education Centres and a range of outreach venues such as Libraries, jobcentres, and Community Centres across the Vale of Glamorgan. Some courses may take place online using Zoom or other platforms.

Part-time sessional tutors are required for a range of Adult Education programmes across the Vale of Glamorgan. Currently, tutors are required in the following subjects:

  • Digital Skills
  • Skills for the Workplace (e.g. First Aid, Health and Safety)
  • S.O.L.E.
  • Essential Skills: English and/or Maths
  • Welsh for Adults
