Vale Courses is part of the Adult Community Learning programme in the Vale of Glamorgan, providing a great range of leisure and learning opportunities for adults aged 16+. Based at Old Hall Cowbridge, Vale Courses also delivers courses across a range of community venues. We support learners of all backgrounds to develop new skills, build confidence and enjoy lifelong learning.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced tutors to join our team. We are particularly seeking tutors in the following subject areas:
- Cookery
- Modern Foreign Languages
- Health and Wellbeing
- Crafts (Jewellery making, glass work, wire art, woodwork)

As a sessional adult tutor, you will deliver engaging courses and workshops for adult learners, courses typically run for 10 weeks with additional, half day or one day workshops and taster sessions available. Sessions usually last for 2-3 hours and can take place during the day, afternoon or evening and some weekends. Courses will predominantly take place at Old Hall Cowbridge, but our tutors also teach at a range of Adult Education Centres, Schools and Community Venues across the Vale of Glamorgan.
Pay Details: JNC Youth and Community Professional Range Point 14 £33,066, £17.19 Per Hour
Hours of Work: Various part time sessions as required. Sessions are typically of 2-3 hours duration and take place mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Course duration is Adult Term.
