About The Role
Pay Details: Grade 5, SCP 8 – 12, £26,824 – £28,598
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 5 days, 37 hours per week, 2 Saturdays per month
Main Place of Work: Cowbridge Library
Description: To assist in delivering a friendly and professional library service to the community. This will involve dealing with enquiries, helping out with library activities, and providing support for customers to make use of the library stock, resources and facilities.
About You
You will need:
- A confident and outgoing manner with a proactive approach to helping customers
- Experience of working with a range of customers or clients
- Experience in using online information resources
- ECDL or equivalent proof of competence in using computers
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A-C, including English or NVQ level 2 in Library and Information Services or at least 3 years working in a library
