We provide a wide range of support and services aimed at facilitating integration and ensuring the well‑being of individuals and families. About The Role

The Nationwide PRS officer plays a vital role in assisting individuals and families—often refugees or asylum seekers—to find stable housing. This role involves searching for and procuring private rental properties across the UK to enable families to settle into communities and begin their resettlement journey.

  • Pay Details: Grade 5, Spinal Point 8-12. £26,824 - £28,598 pro rata
  • Hours: Mon‑Fri 9am‑5pm
  • Main Place of Work: Various
  • Temporary Reason: Grant Funded

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals and families—often refugees or asylum seekers—to find stable housing.
  • Search and procure private rental properties across the UK.
  • Engage confidently with landlords, agents, and housing providers.
  • Negotiate and secure quality housing solutions in line with policy.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to housing procurement.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and solution‑focused individual with a strong understanding of the private rental sector and housing procurement processes.

You should have excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills, enabling you to engage confidently with landlords, agents, and housing providers across the UK.

You should be highly organised, resilient, and capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

You should have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to securing quality housing solutions, and a passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and families into safe, sustainable accommodation.

Experience in housing, property management, or tenancy support is desirable, alongside a working knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
