About the role
- Salary details: Grade 1 £12.65 ya
- Working Hours / Working Pattern: Monday to Friday. Term time 10 hours/week (38 weeks). 10 hour/week break (3 weeks).
Description:
- Assisting in providing an effective cleaning service to building cleaning clients.
- Replacing other cleaners during periods of holidays, sickness, lack of staff and other absences.
- Occasionally assists the site supervisor/supervisor with the training of cleaning staff.
- Undertake all aspects of cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and steam cleaning, cleaning according to the site specification, cleaning after construction, cleaning during breaks and other cleaning not normally specified in the site specification.
About you
- Previous experience of working in the cleaning industry or in another cleaning-related discipline/environment.
- A basic understanding of the various cleaning tasks that need to be undertaken to provide an efficient and effective Cleaning Service.
- Good oral skills and ability to negotiate with members of the public and client officers.
- Be able to perform lifting and carrying duties and physically labour.
- You must be able to work from your own head and paste and perform duties effectively.
- Positive and self-motivated with the ability to be flexible and responsive to changes in priorities and demand.
- Willing to work irregular hours.
- Be able to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations as appropriate.
