Description
Be responsible for the general management of the kitchen and for providing meals for older people in a residential setting in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance.
About You
You will need:
- Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum)
- Experience of larger scale catering operation
- Understanding of Special dietary requirements e.g. diabetic, vegetarian,high protein
- Cooking skills and the ability to motivate and supervise kitchen assistants
- The ability to plan menus and organise work environment
- Be able to use their own initiate
- Good standard of the English language both verbally and in writing
- Good numeral skills
