About The Role
Pay Details: Grade 3, SCP 4, £25,185 p.a.
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm & Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
Main Place of Work: Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry.
Description:
Advising Customers in person, by telephone and through correspondence on liability and collection of council tax and other income due to the Council. Administration of Local Taxation. Clerical Support to the Exchequer Section
About You
You will need:
- Experience in customer services and clerical work.
- Use of IT systems.
- Able to deal with financial data quickly and accurately
- Able to deal confidently and effectively with customers.
- Able to deal with customers in difficult situations.
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent level/ ability to achieve the required standard in numeracy and literacy testing.
DBS Check Required: Basic
