About the role

  • Pay Details: Grade 1, SCP 3 £25,949 Pro Rata £13.45 Per Hour
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday. Term time 10 hrs/week (38 weeks) 6 - 8am Recess 8 hrs/week (5 weeks)
  • Main Place of Work: St Josephs

Description:

  • To assist in providing an effective cleaning service to building cleaning clients.
  • To cover other cleaners during periods of holidays, sickness, staff shortages and other absences.
  • To occasionally assist the chargehand / Site Supervisor with the training of cleaning staff.
  • To undertake all aspects of cleaning tasks such as; carpet cleaning and steam cleaning, all site specification cleaning, builders cleans, recess cleaning and other cleaning not normally stated in the site specification.

About you

  • Previous experience of working within the cleaning industry or a cleaning related discipline/environment.
  • Basic understanding of the various cleaning tasks required to provide an efficient and effective premises Cleaning Service.
  • Good verbal communication skills and the ability to converse with members of the public and client officers.
  • Be physically able to carry out manual and active labouring duties.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and undertake duties in an effective manner.
  • Positive and self-motivated with the ability to be.
