Description: We are looking to appoint a passionate and experienced Progress Step 2 teacher to join our friendly and forward-thinking school. This is a unique opportunity to work in a mixed-age Year 1/2 class as part of a job share, teaching one day per week (day to be agreed with the successful candidate).
This role is ideal for a dedicated teacher who enjoys working collaboratively, has strong knowledge of the curriculum, and can create an inspiring learning environment where all pupils thrive.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience teaching Progress Step 2 and a clear understanding of curriculum progression and assessment
- Be confident using AfL strategies to support and challenge learners effectively
- Foster pupil independence and resilience in learning
- Be creative and enthusiastic, with experience in outdoor learning and maintaining exciting classroom environments
- Demonstrate high expectations and a commitment to pupil achievement
- Be an excellent team player, willing to contribute to the wider school community
- The ability to work within and promote the distinctively Christian ethos of the school
