About the Role

Pay Details: Grade 6

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 hours per week

Main Place of Work: Civic offices / Working from home

Temporary Reason: Covering a secondment

To provide a finance support service to schools in line with the Council’s service level agreement. To coordinate and assist schools in the preparation of budgets and recovery plans and advise schools in accordance with the Fair Funding Scheme for schools, financial regulations and grant terms and conditions.

  • Experience of budget preparation and budget monitoring
  • Experience of working in a finance related environment
  • Excellent ICT skills (in particular Microsoft Excel)
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Full AAT qualification
