About The Role

  • Pay Details: Grade 2, Scale points 3 £24,796 Pro Rata £12.85 Per Hour
  • Hours of Work: 18hr 45 per week, 40 weeks per year

Description: We are looking for a friendly, well-organised and proactive person to join our school team as a School Administrator predominantly based at the infant site. No previous school-based experience is required and the role would be ideal for someone looking to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in school administration. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, enjoy working in a busy school environment and be able to use their initiative while handling a variety of tasks. Working closely with the school’s principal administrative officer and senior leadership team, you will provide confidential and efficient administrative support to the school. You will be the main point of contact for parents and visitors to the infant site. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and welcoming school community, where your contribution will make a real difference to the education of children.

About You

  • You will need to complete and assist with the development of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, and reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
  • Be aware of and support difference and ensure equal opportunities for all.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
  • Establish constructive relationships and communicate with other agencies/professionals.
  • Attend and participate in regular meetings.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
  • Recognise own strengths and areas of expertise and use these to advise and support others.
