Pay Details: Grade 3 - Apprentice L4: £25,949 p.a. Working Pattern: 37 hours per week. Location: Main place of work: Bridgend, Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan office locations.

Role Overview: The Regulatory Services Apprentices role will be based in the Trading Standards team, with successful candidates gaining experience across the breadth of the Service over an 18‑month apprenticeship. While studying for the Level 4 Diploma in Regulatory Compliance, you will assist Officers in a range of duties. Successful progression will result in increasing responsibilities with support. Your study will involve a mix of online and face‑to‑face training with the Training Provider, with regular contact with your supervisor. Study time will be factored into the week to allow completion of assessments and other work. You will work in a supportive environment. The role offers the opportunity to earn while you learn, with potential pathways for career progression and professional qualification in one of the Regulatory Services disciplines; progression depends on performance and fit.
