About Us

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with the relevant qualifications to undertake this exciting role in this key area of importance to the Council. We are a busy legal department which has a progressive outlook with a “can-do” approach. The post holder will support the Council’s debt recovery service by assisting solicitors and senior officers with the progression of Adult Social Care and sundry debt cases. The role involves a hybrid approach combining early intervention, negotiation and support with preparation for litigation and enforcement where appropriate. The post contributes to the delivery of a lawful, proportionate, fair and efficient debt recovery service, balancing income recovery with vulnerability and customer care considerations.
