Pencoedtre is currently going through an exciting transformation following a challenging few years which has been fully documented in the press. Significant organisational change has already taken place, making the school an exciting and vibrant place to develop your career. A recently appointed Executive Headteacher and Head of School have joined the school with extensive experience in school improvement. The professional development programme will mirror the programme at Whitmore High School which received two case studies in its recent inspection, one for understanding professional development. The Whitmore High School professional development lead has been seconded to Pencoedtre to ensure new staff receive the very best support. They are fully supported by two outstanding lead practitioners who will work extensively with new staff.

About The Role
Pay Details: Grade 4 SPC 5-7 £25,583 - £26,403 Pro Rata £13.26 - £13.69 Per Hour
Hours of Work: 32.5 hrs per week x 39 weeks - Term time only and will include inset days

Description: We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistants to work with learners that need support to develop strategies to improve their engagement and their progress in school. The successful candidate will be joining an enthusiastic, committed, supportive and solution-focused team within either the KS3 or the KS4 Hwb. We continue, as a school, to make innovative changes to continue our drive for school improvement and maximise the opportunities for the children and young people in our school.
