About The Role
- Pay Details: Grade 6 SCP 14 - 19 £29,540 - £32,061
- Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 hours per week
- Main Place of Work: Barry with travel across the Vale of Glamorgan

As a Disability Employment & Engagement Mentor, you will support individuals with disabilities to access volunteering, work placements, training and paid employment. You will manage a caseload, provide mentoring and in-work support, build relationships with employers and partners, and help participants achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
About You
You will need:
- Enthusiasm, compassion and a person-centred approach, with the ability to motivate and support individuals facing barriers to employment.
- Confidence in working with employers, families, support services and partner organisations to deliver positive outcomes.
- Experience supporting individuals into employment, training or volunteering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of partnership working and employer engagement.
- Good Microsoft 365 and digital skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and performance data.
- Understanding of safeguarding, GDPR, equality and inclusion.
- Flexibility to travel and occasionally work evenings and weekends.
