Job Description:
- Recovery and enforcement of Council Tax through final stages including charging order and bankruptcy hearings.
- Leading and supervising teams dealing with Council Tax administration.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive experience of working in a Local Taxation environment.
- Extensive experience in dealing with financial matters.
- Experience in working with fully computerised systems.
- The ability to effectively act as advocate for the Council at Court and at Valuation Tribunals.
- Able to deal confidently and effectively with customers.
- Able to deal with customers in difficult situations.
- 5 GCSEs grade A to C grades / O levels including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
DBS Check Required: Basic.
