About The Role
- Pay Details: Grade 1 £12.65 ph
- Hours of Work / Working Pattern: Monday to Friday. Term time: 10 hrs/week x 2 & (38 weeks). Recess: 10 hrs/week x 2 (3 weeks).
- Main Place of Work: St Helen’s RC Primary
Description
- Assist in providing an effective cleaning service to building cleaning clients.
- Cover other cleaners during periods of holidays, sickness, staff shortages and other absences.
- Occasionally assist the chargehand / Site Supervisor with the training of cleaning staff.
- Undertake all aspects of cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and steam cleaning, all site specification cleaning, builders cleans, recess cleaning and other cleaning not normally stated in the site specification.
About You
- Previous experience of working within the cleaning industry or a cleaning related discipline/environment.
- Basic understanding of the various cleaning tasks required to provide an efficient and effective premises cleaning service.
- Good verbal communication skills and the ability to converse with members of the public and client officers.
- Be physically able to carry out manual and active labouring duties.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and undertake duties in an effective manner.
- Positive and self-motivated with the ability to be flexible and responsive to changes in priorities and demands.
- Be prepared to work irregular hours.
- Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations as appropriate.
