The Big Fresh Catering Company provides healthy nutritious school meals at lunchtime, which is compliant with the Food and Nutrient standards set by the Welsh Government’s Healthy Eating in Schools (Nutritional Standards and Requirements) (Wales) Regulations 2013. In addition to this, we also provide a high quality Buffet/Function service to our schools, Café at the Penarth Pier Pavilion, weddings, external customers and companies.

About The Role

Enthusiastic Café/Events Assistant with duties including:

  • Setting up of dining hall
  • Serving meals
  • Washing up
  • Clearing away equipment/surrounding area in Cosmeston Café and other locations

Pay Details: Grade 1 SCP 2 £24,413 Pro Rata £12.65 Per Hour

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 5/7 days – 16 hrs per week

Main Place of Work: Cosmeston/Other Locations

Temporary Reason: Permanent

You will need:

  • Ability to assist in all areas of the kitchen to achieve the required standards
  • Approachable manner
  • Commitment and teamwork towards the service
