About The Role
You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team where you’ll learn as you go and build real experience in a busy office environment that supports both Direct Payments and wider commissioning and corporate functions.
Day to day, you can expect to be:
- Helping the Community Care Finance and Direct Payments teams with a range of admin and financial support tasks
- Supporting the administration of Direct Payments packages
- Speaking with social workers, personal assistants, care providers, and service users by phone, email, and letter
- Supporting the setup and administration of care packages
- Assisting with monitoring information, attendance registers and vacancy lists
- Supporting DBS administration and workforce communications
- Helping to process invoices and payments linked to care services
- Maintaining accurate spreadsheets, databases and records
- Assisting with basic financial tasks, including raising invoices
- Supporting provider records, contracts and insurance information
- Pulling together information and data to help the team make informed decisions
Alongside this, you’ll be learning about the wider responsibilities that come with working in a public service environment, including safeguarding, data protection, equality, and health and safety.
