About Us

Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and Wellbeing in the Vale of Glamorgan is recruiting for a Case Work Assistant to support the ALN team in conducting its statutory functions in relation to the ALN Act 2018 and the ALN Code. The department has an excellent track record and enjoys good relationships with schools in the Vale of Glamorgan. This is an exciting time of change where new systems are being implemented and developed, which will result in better and more personalised outcomes for children and young people.

About The Role

  • Pay Details: Grade 6 SCP 14 - 19 (£29,540 – £29,540) p.a.
  • Hours of Work: 37 hours.
  • Working Pattern: Main Place of Work: Civic Offices and remote home working to provide administrative support for the ALN case work Team.
  • Temporary until: 31st March 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Support the ALN team in conducting statutory functions in relation to the ALN Act 2018 and the ALN Code.

About You

  • Experience of administration, liaising with colleagues, and other agencies.
  • Knowledge of ICT packages.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
