Part‑Time 10 hours per week £12.69 - £12.89 per hour (approximately £5,985 – £6,079 annually)

We are looking for a committed and flexible individual to join our hardworking and friendly site team for 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday, during term time. You may work either in the morning from 7:00 am to 9:00 am or after school from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The contract also includes 30 hours of holiday cleaning per year (spread throughout the school holidays). Applicants will need energy and enthusiasm, and the ability to work unsupervised. Experience of cleaning would be useful but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Clean a specified area of the school to the required standard
  • Sweep, mop or vacuum floors
  • Dust, polish or damp‑wipe surfaces and furniture as appropriate
  • Clean toilets and showers
  • Use cleaning materials as appropriate and according to instructions (e.g., use of chemicals and colour‑coded resources)
  • Empty bins and remove rubbish from the premises
  • Wash floors, surfaces, fixtures, fittings and walls up to a specified height
  • Report any damages to school property or other relevant matters
  • Comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work regulations and take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others
