We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Locum Practice Nurse to join one of our clients' healthcare team. The Practice Nurse will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting the clinical team, and ensuring that patients receive the best possible service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and take medical histories
- General treatment room duties (smears, wound care, phlebotomy, immunisations etc)
- Management of chronic diseases and long-term conditions (desirable)
- Provide health education and advice to patients on various health issues
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with valid nursing qualifications
- Qualification in Cytology and/or family planning
- Previous experience in a primary care or similar healthcare setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to continuous professional development and learning
