How You Will Energise Our Team Join our Business Change team and help deliver the strategic projects that shape the future of Valda Energy in a newly created Project Manager role. Working across a varied portfolio of business and technology initiatives, you'll take ownership of projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring they're well-governed, delivered on time, and aligned with our business goals. You'll work closely with senior leaders, stakeholders, technology teams and suppliers to keep projects moving, manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear updates throughout. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager or an ambitious Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager looking to step up and make a real impact in a fast-growing business.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of multiple business change and transformation projects across the organisation
  • Establish and maintain project governance including project plans, RAID logs, decision logs, actions, reporting and project documentation
  • Prepare and facilitate project steering groups, governance forums and stakeholder meetings
  • Work with senior stakeholders to define objectives, outcomes, success measures and delivery plans
  • Produce clear and concise project status reporting for leadership teams and project sponsors
  • Identify, manage and elevate risks, issues, dependencies and delivery blockers
  • Support business readiness, change management and implementation activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems
  • Collaborate with technology, operational and commercial teams to ensure project activities remain aligned to business priorities
  • Track project budgets, resource requirements and delivery milestones
  • Support continuous improvement of project delivery standards, governance frameworks and ways of working
  • Leverage project management and productivity tools, including AI-enabled solutions where appropriate, to improve project delivery, reporting and stakeholder communication

The Spark we're Looking For Experience delivering projects, change initiatives or business improvements, ideally supported by a recognised qualification (APM, PRINCE2, AgilePM) or equivalent hands‑on experience. Strong understanding of project governance, including plans, RAID logs, reporting and wider project documentation. Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments. Excellent communication skills with experience producing clear reports, presentations and senior stakeholder updates. Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders. Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse complex information and translate it into practical solutions. Highly organised, self‑managing and collaborative, with the flexibility to adapt across different teams and ways of working. Confident challenging constructively and contributing to effective decision‑making in a dynamic environment.
