About the role
We have plenty of growing left to do, so we are looking for an Operations and Logistics Co‑ordinator to join our team in our Liverpool office. The VALD Operations and Warehouse team services the entire VALD suite of products using a large range of components to dispatch to our clients around the world. Our team is physically fit with can-do attitudes, multi-skilled and able to perform a wide range of warehouse duties. Is this you?
What you will do:
- Physically unrestricted to work in an operations/warehouse environment (UK Office)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem solve.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing and production principles, including safety and safe work practices.
- Good time management and housekeeping skills, and able to multitask.
- Capable of overseeing daily shipping activities, including carrier coordination, shipment tracking, and resolution of delivery issues.
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- Able to oversee repair workflows, including diagnostics, repair scheduling, documentation, and internal or customer communication.
- Full working rights in the UK, and no restrictions to travel to the VALD HQ in Australia for your onboarding.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new skills and processes.
- Experience with hand and power tools and experience in a component assembly role.
- Ideally, you have experience with PCBA assembly and soldering (desirable but not essential).
