What will your role be?
- Quickly understand business issues, challenges and industry context of the client’s organisation.
- Translate digital opportunities into practical solutions – from new enterprise applications to automated business processes and end‑to‑end UX, functional and technical designs.
- Focus on the technical aspects of analysis to support the design and delivery of complex solutions.
- Produce clear, concise and accurate specifications, including UI/GUI designs, functional requirements, user stories, test cases and user documentation.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and investigate how services, functions or products can be improved.
- Use data‑modelling practices to analyse findings and generate recommendations for operational enhancements or process changes.
- Communicate solution benefits across teams and address uncertainties or concerns.
- Identify and evaluate solution options, including potential risks and opportunities.
- Manage business and technical requirements throughout the full change and development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with other analysts across the UK business to share knowledge and develop capability.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Technology Advisory competency.
What experience are we looking for?
5+ years of experience in a project or solution delivery environment.
- Operate at all levels, bridging low‑level technical detail with high‑level business objectives.
- Work as a Solutions Analyst within an agile scrum team, supporting Product Owners to articulate needs across epics, features and user stories.
- Strong facilitation skills with experience running workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture requirements.
- Produce specifications suitable for a range of audiences and purposes.
- Conceptualise and communicate complex solution designs.
- Proven experience modelling complex requirements, systems or solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, engaging effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Understand client challenges and translate them into actionable, effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Ideally degree‑educated in a technology or business‑related discipline.
- Qualifications in Business Analysis, UML or Agile methodologies.
- Relevant professional qualifications aligned to domain expertise, such as:
- Business Architecture (TOGAF, Six Sigma, Business Architecture Body of Knowledge)
- Business Analysis (e. g., BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis)
- Or equivalent experience gained in practice.
