Valcon is a consultancy with a focus on combining deep technical knowledge with a pragmatic, delivery-first mindset. We’re currently supporting a major transformation programme and are looking for a Senior SIT Test Analyst to join the team on an immediate-start contract.
The Role
You’ll play a critical part in ensuring that complex system integrations land effectively within a wider enterprise change landscape. Operating within a collaborative and fast-moving environment, you’ll be responsible for hands-on test delivery and stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams. This role requires 2–3 days a week in the central London office, so we’re looking for someone based in or around the London area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) across a variety of workstreams and systems.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to define integration points and plan test cycles accordingly.
- Develop and maintain detailed SIT test cases, scripts, and test data.
- Ensure traceability across requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Log, track, and report on defects, escalating where necessary to resolve blockers.
- Support defect triage and resolution discussions with technical and business stakeholders.
- Provide clear and concise test updates and reports to project teams and leadership.
- Contribute to test strategy, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven, consistent experience delivering System Integration Testing (SIT) – this is essential.
- Strong hands-on experience across the full testing lifecycle in complex environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – you’re confident translating testing detail into clear updates and decisions.
- Experience working in fast-paced programmes, ideally within large-scale transformation or enterprise systems environments.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations-focused projects is a nice-to-have, not a must.
